About Our Salon
Shirley’s K9 Klippery was established in 1977 and has been a cornerstone of downtown Whitby ever since. It is the longest running privately owned pet salon in the Durham Region, and has been recognized as Whitby’s favourite grooming salon for 9 years in a row!

Hand Scissoring
We bring flair to your pets hair. Hand scissoring is a way to leave your pets hair longer than traditional short shaves. It also allows groomers to correct cosmetic defects, whilst being able to create a more stylized finish.
Giant Breeds
If your dog is 110lbs or more, Shirley’s can gladly accomodate for your big, furry friend. Our state-of-the-art facility was designed with our extra large friends in mind.
